ST. LOUIS — New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. was the star of everything Sunday. Not just between the sidelines, but behind them.

Beckham, Jr. caught eight passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns in New York’s 37-27 win over the St. Louis Rams in the Edward Jones Dome. He was also one of the central figures in a pair of fights in the Giants’ bench area, which led to three ejections.

With 2:10 left in the first half, Beckham, Jr. caught a 6-yard pass from quarterback Eli Manning and was hit late out of bounds by linebacker Alec Oglegree. Beckham, Jr. threw the ball at Ogletree and things escalated quickly.

Giants wide receiver Preston Parker was kicked out for jumping a Rams player from behind and punching him, while New York defensive end Damontre Moore and St. Louis defensive end William Hayes traded punches. Both were ejected.

Rams fans in a crowd of 55,851 loudly booed Beckham, Jr. for most of the third quarter, but were quieted when the rookie hauled in Manning’s 80-yard touchdown pass with 45 seconds left that gave New York (6-9) a 34-20 lead.

Manning picked apart a defense, which entered the game not having allowed a touchdown in 12 straight quarters, dating back to the fourth quarter of a 27-24 loss Nov. 23 in San Diego.

Manning completed 25 of 32 passes for 391 yards and three scores. He hit Beckham, Jr. on a 9-yard touchdown strike with 8:24 left in the first quarter and found wide receiver Rueben Randle for a 7-yard score at the 7:29 mark of the third quarter.

Rookie running back Andre Williams added 110 yards on 26 rushes, and backup running back Orleans Darkwa contributed a 12-yard touchdown run with 4:49 left in the first half. Placekicker Josh Brown chipped in field goals of 29, 37 and 52 yards as the Giants won their third straight game.

St. Louis quarterback Shaun Hill completed 24 of 32 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns, a 23-yard pass to tight end Lance Kendricks with 1:44 remaining in the third quarter and a 47-yard bomb to wide receiver Chris Givens with 3:56 left in the game. But it wasn’t enough to prevent the Rams (6-9) from stretching their streak of losing seasons to 11.

Rookie running back Tre Mason rushed 13 times for 76 yards and a 10-yard touchdown shortly before the wild brawl, while wide receiver Kenny Britt finished with nine catches for 103 yards. Kicker Greg Zuerlein added 51 and 20-yard field goals.

NOTES: New York starting RB Rashad Jennings (ankle) sat out for the second time in three weeks. Jennings was injured after carrying once for three yards last week against Washington. … St. Louis’ James Laurinaitis made his 95th straight start Sunday, the third-longest streak among NFL linebackers. … Rams P Johnny Hekker downed three punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line, giving him a league-high 32.
