NFL Fun Stats is put together to provide a wide range of number-oriented morsels for those who crave the delicacy and geek-dom of NFL statistics, news and notes. If you’re not quoting one note each week, I’m not doing my job. Here are your water cooler nuggets.

– Is the amount of times the Chicago Bears have scored 30 points or more this season. Chicago scored 30 or more points six times in 2013 and ranked eighth-overall in total offense. . The offense has slipped from being a top unit last year to No. 18 overall  in 2014. Second-year head coach Marc Trestman, known for his offensive ingenuity, has struggled to get his team to perform giving flight to the rumors he could be axed in Chicago.

– Time in the history of the NFL has a game ended with a final score of 16-11. That first time final occurred this past weekend as the New York Jets beat the Tennessee Titans 16-11.

– Players in the NFL reached 100-yards or more individually either rushing or receiving in Week 15. The Cleveland Browns managed only 107 yards of total offense the lowest team total since 1976. Rookie Johnny Manziel was intercepted twice, sacked three times and limited to 80 yards passing and a passer rating of 27.3. In any other city they would be calling for the backup, but not in Cleveland.

– Straight games New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith had lost consecutively as the starting quarterback until Week 15. Smith won his second game of the season after winning opening day against the Oakland Raiders. The record of the opponents Smith has beaten in 2014 is 4-24.

– Touchdown passes have been thrown by Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterbacks dating back to Week 12 in 2013. None of those touchdown passes have been thrown to a wide receiver. The Chiefs have gone over a season worth of games (18) without a touchdown strike to their receiving unit.

– Wins combined by the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-12), Oakland Raiders (2-12), Tennessee Titans (2-12), and New York Jets (3-11). The four teams would still rank two games behind the AFC East leading New England Patriots (11-3) and AFC West leading Denver Broncos (11-3) for a playoff spot. The AFC South leading Indianapolis Colts would still hold a one game advantage over these ill-fated franchises. In the AFC North the Baltimore Ravens (9-5), Cincinnati Bengals (9-4-1) and Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5) all have nine wins. It’s possible those four teams could combine their win totals and still miss the playoffs.

– Games remain for each team before the 2014 NFL regular season schedule is complete. Half of the 32 teams in the NFL have used at least two different starting quarterbacks due to injury or lack of production by the incumbent.

– Catches by New York Jets rookie tight end Jace Amaro after Week 15. High expectations were in order for Amaro, the Jets’ second-round pick and 49^th overall selection in the NFL Draft. The former Texas Tech star finished his final college season with 106 catches for 1,352 receiving yards. In the dismal Jets’ offense, Amaro is still making a modest impact. His 35 catches for 311 yards and two touchdowns is comparable to the rookie season of Dallas Cowboys Jason Witten when he recorded 35 catches for 347 yards and one touchdown.

– Times since becoming the starting quarterback in 2008 has Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers failed to throw in single touchdown pass in a regular season game. In Week 15 against the Buffalo Bills he had a day to forget going 17-for-42 passing, for 185 yards and two interceptions in the 21-13 defeat. Green Bay is 3-5 overall when Rodgers does not throw a touchdown pass. It should be noted in two of those games that Rodgers failed to reach the end zone, he exited the game early with an injury. Think about this for a second; New York Jets second-year quarterback Geno Smith has had 10 games in 28 starts without throwing a single touchdown pass. Rodgers has started 101 games and has only eight. Smith had eight alone in his rookie year in 2013.

– Teams have more than doubled the points scored by the Jacksonville Jaguars this season. The Jags rank last in the NFL in scoring points with 211. The New England Patriots (442), Green Bay Packers (436), and Indianapolis Colts (424) offenses have doubled the amount produced by Jacksonville.
