Browns lose CB Haden to shoulder injury
Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden left Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a shoulder injury and will not return.
Haden headed for the locker room early in the second quarter and was later ruled out.
Haden is considered the Browns’ best defensive player. He was assigned to cover Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green. For the season, he has three interceptions.
It is not clear how serious the injury is or how much time he will miss.
The Browns also lost rookie cornerback Justin Gilbert to a head injury late in the first half. His status for the rest of the game was not immediately known.
In addition, Browns return specialist Marlon Moore left with a knee injury.
