Dolphins Acquire LB Jake Knott
The Miami Dolphins addressed their injury-decimated linebacker unit by signing Jake Knott to the 53-man roster on Monday.
Knott, a former Iowa State standout who spent portions of the past two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, recently served a four-game NFL suspension for testing positive for a banned substance this offseason.
Knott, a first-team All-Big 12 pick in 2012, made the Eagles’ 53-man roster last year as an undrafted rookie free agent, and played in 12 games.
