Broncos TE Thomas to return vs. Bills
Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas is active for the first time in three weeks for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Thomas sprained his ankle at St. Louis on Nov. 16 and missed most of the game. He attempted to practice each of the next two weeks but was limited moving laterally.
Thomas was expected to be a game-time decision for this week’s game against the Bills. He has 40 catches for 426 yards and a team-leading 12 touchdowns this season.
Thomas is scheduled to be a free agent at the end of the season.
