WR Jackson among Redskins’ inactives

Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson is not active for Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams.

Jackson was listed on Friday’s injury report as questionable with a shin injury and was officially ruled out on Sunday.

Andre Roberts is expected to start in place of Jackson.

Safety Brandon Meriweather is out with a toe injury. He was previously listed as doubtful. Phillip Thomas is expected to start in his place. Linebacker Keenan Robinson is not active because of a knee injury. He was considered questionable on Friday. Will Compton is expected to start instead.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins, defensive lineman Kedric Golston, offensive lineman Josh LeRibeus and tackle Tyler Polumbus are also inactive.
