Vikings’ McKinnon, Jets’ Amaro, Wilkerson ruled out

Published

on

Minnesota Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets with a lower back injury.

The Jets ruled out tight end Jace Amaro (concussion) and defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (toe). They both were inactive for Monday night’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

McKinnon did not practice all week with the back injury, which kept him out of last Sunday’s win against the Carolina Panthers. He leads the Vikings in rushing yards (538) and carries (113).

The Vikings also listed linebacker Anthony Barr (knee) and cornerback Jabari Price (hamstring) as doubtful. Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee) and tight ends Chase Ford (hamstring, foot), Kyle Rudolph (abdomen and Rhett Ellison (ankle) were listed as probable.

The Jets listed guard Willie Colon (shoulder, knee), tight end Jeff Cumberland (illness), kicker Nick Folk (right hip), running back Chris Johnson (knee), wide receiver Jeremy Kerley (illness) and cornerback Josh Thomas (illness) as probable.
