Bears’ Gould, Jeffery miss practice
The Chicago Bears play the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday and might be without kicker Robbie Gould and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.
Jeffery sat out Tuesday’s practice because of hamstring that also limited him in Monday’s practice. Coach Marc Trestman said it was a “precautionary” move to keep Jeffery out of practice.
Jeffery leads the team with 67 catches for 854 yards. He has seven touchdown receptions, trailing Brandon Marshall who leads the team with eight.
A sore quadriceps kept Gould on the sideline Tuesday.
Rookie punter Pat O’Donnell handled the placekicking chores just in case Gould can’t go Thursday.
