Lions’ Johnson hits 10,000 receiving yards
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson reached 10,000 receiving years faster than any player in NFL history during the first half of Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
The 29-year-old Johnson made it to the milestone in his 115th NFL game. Former St. Louis Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Torry Holt had made it to 10,000 in his 116th game.
Johnson, who sat out for a month this season with an ankle injury, had nine receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns in the first half against the Bears.
