Report: Suggs fined for late hit
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs was fined $8,268 for a late hit on Pittsburgh Steelers running back LeGarrette Blount during Sunday’s game, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday.
Blount said this week that Suggs is “known to be a dirty player.”
Suggs was called for unnecessary roughness on the play in question, and it led to some pushing and shoving by both teams.
Suggs said after the game the play was not dirty, claiming Blount was still up and moving when he made the hit.
