Jason Garrett: Romo Looked Comfortable in Practice
Tony Romo’s chances of playing in front of the London crowd on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars increase by the day.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback took part in a Friday morning walkthrough, practiced later with his teammates and was given a probable designation.
It’s significant that Romo could participate in back-to-back days of practice after sitting out all of last week with a back injury.
“He looked pretty comfortable to me,” coach Jason Garrett said of his quarterback. “Clearly he’s coming back off of this thing and wanted to get the blood flowing through his body and get his movement back both in the pocket and also throwing the football. I feel like he had a pretty good day yesterday.”
