Lamar Miller on Shoulder Injury: ‘I’m Good’
A half-hour after Sunday’s game, Lamar Miller still struggled to lift his left arm.
Miller, the Dolphins’ starting running back, left Sunday’s game late in the third quarter with a shoulder injury. As part of its examination, the team’s medical staff asked Miller to lift his hand over his head. He could only get it about halfway.
Flash-forward to the victorious locker room, and he showed a similar difficulty when putting on his shirt.
But Miller, who rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, said he only sustained a stinger and could have returned to the game, had that outcome not already been decided. He spent the rest of the game on the sidelines, still in uniform.
“I’m good,” Miller said. “Just get some treatment, but I should be good.”
