Pats re-sign LB Skinner to practice squad
The New England Patriots re-signed rookie linebacker Deontae Skinner to the practice squad Friday.
Skinner was released from the 53-man roster Wednesday.
Skinner, 24, was originally signed by the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Mississippi State on May 12. The 6-foot-2, 250-pounder was released by the Patriots on Aug. 26 and signed to the practice squad on Sept. 1. He was signed to the 53-man roster on Sept. 13 and played in seven games with one start, accumulating 10 total tackles and three special teams tackles.
The Patriots also released wide receiver Jonathan Krause from the practice squad.
Krause, 22, joined the practice squad on Oct. 24. He was originally signed by Cleveland as a rookie free agent out of Vanderbilt on May 12. The 5-11, 190-pounder was released by the Browns on Aug. 25.
