Seahawks to induct Jones into Ring of Honor
The Seattle Seahawks will induct Hall of Fame left tackle Walter Jones into their Ring of Honor during halftime of their game against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday in Seattle.
The ceremony will include the unveiling of Jones’ name on the suite-level façade inside the stadium.
Jones will become the 11th member of Ring of Honor, which celebrates the franchise’s top players. He will join fellow Hall of Famers Steve Largent and Cortez Kennedy as well as Jim Zorn, Dave Brown, Pete Gross, Curt Warner, Jacob Green, Kenny Easley, Dave Krieg and Chuck Knox.
Jones, the sixth overall draft pick in 1997, was a nine-time Pro Bowl tackle and four-time All-Pro in 12 seasons with the Seahawks. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August.
