Seahawks re-sign DE Scruggs
The Seattle Seahawks made a change to their defense Tuesday, releasing safety Steven Terrell and re-signing defensive end Greg Scruggs.
Scruggs, 24, was inactive for the Seahawks’ first four games, then was released Saturday before Seattle’s home loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
A seventh-round draft pick in 2012, Scruggs made six tackles, including two sacks, in 11 games as a rookie. He missed last season due to a knee injury.
Terrell, 24, joined the active roster Saturday after spending time with the Seahawks in training camp. He was credited with one tackle against the Cowboys in his NFL debut.
