Darrelle Revis Excited to Face Former Team

The query from a reporter yesterday set up Darrelle Revis quite well for the punch line, and the Patriots cornerback didn’t disappoint.

“I heard you’re familiar with the team you’re playing on Thursday,” the reporter asked. “Is that right?”

“No, I know nothing about them,” Revis said to a chorus of chuckles. “I definitely do. So, I hope that answers your question.”

Without question, Revis is more familiar with this week’s opponent than any other this season, as he and his teammates face the New York Jets, his former team, on Thursday night at Gillette Stadium.
