Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green expects to miss another week due to the toe injury that held him out of Sunday’s 37-37 tie with the Carolina Panthers.

Green told ESPN that he probably will sit out but plans to see a foot doctor again this week to determine whether he can play against the Indianapolis Colts.

NFL.com also reported Monday that the Bengals’ star receiver will miss another week.

Green was wearing the a boot while observing pregame warm-ups Sunday. Green was one of the Bengals’ seven inactives for the game.

Green was going through agility drills in last Wednesday’s practice when he reaggravated his big toe injury.

Green previously told reporters that he first suffered the injury that he called “something like turf toe, but not as bad” during the first quarter of the season opener. He battled through the pain, catching a 77-yard go-ahead touchdown that helped give the Bengals the 23-16 Week 1 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Green missed the next game because of the injury, but caught six passes for 102 yards in the Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans. He had five catches for 81 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals’ 43-17 loss at New England in Week 4.
