Tony Romo May Ask To Be Released in Offseason

While there’s plenty of discussions whether or not Tony Romo should replace Dak Prescott under center, there’s not enough dialogue about what the Dallas Cowboys should do with the veteran quarterback in the offseason.

Considering Dallas has the best record in the NFC, it’s understandable as to why no one is worried about the offseason right now. This franchise is looking to win their first Super Bowl since 1996. However, the offseason will be here before you know it.

There’s been plenty reports of owner Jerry Jones electing to trade Romo, but there are whispers from Romo’s camp that he may request to be released, which would broaden his scope of potential destinations. Some of the teams he’s reportedly eyeing are the Broncos, Dolphins, and Cardinals.
