Chiefs Agree To 3-Year Deal With Tamba Hali
The Chiefs keep Hali at their terms. How will it affect their other free agents?
The Kansas City Chiefs have come to terms with free agent defensive end Tamba Hali in what is being reported as a three-year deal.
With the team already franchising safety Eric Berry, it was important to keep Hali in the fold as the 32-year old pass rusher was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl in 2015. Hali and Justin Houston form one of the best pass rushing tandem’s in the NFL.
Look for the Chiefs to be outbid on the services of a few of their own defensive free agents. Linebacker Derrick Johnson, cornerback Sean Smith and defensive tackle Jaye Howard will likely find more money elsewhere.
