Throughout the first half of the season, it appeared Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady would be in the top two every week. However, just a couple of weeks ago, Rodgers played himself out of the top two.

Now, Brady finds himself out of the top two, but in his case, it has more to do with his matchup this week and lack of healthy weapons.

1. Aaron Rodgers vs. Bears – With Green Bay finally back in the win column, expect for Rodgers to fully get his rhythm back against a team he historically owns, especially at home.

2. Carson Palmer @ 49ers – Another great opportunity for Palmer to strengthen his case for MVP.

3. Tom Brady @ Broncos – This is the first time Brady hasn’t been in the top two, but that’s what happens when you face the best defense in football on the road.

4. Cam Newton @ Cowboys – Following his five touchdown performance against the Redskins, Newton will be riding a wave that’ll be tough for Dallas to contain.

5. Jameis Winston @ Colts – Just like Newton, Winston is coming off a five touchdown game of his own and he plays better on the road than at home.

6. Russell Wilson vs. Steelers – This past Sunday, Wilson threw for 260 yards to go along with three touchdowns, which are both game-highs for him on the season. Facing the 28th pass defense this week should mean another productive outing.

7. Matthew Stafford vs. Eagles – With all of the hoopla surrounding Chip Kelly, this is an opportunity for Stafford to cash in against a dysfunctional unit.

8. Blake Bortles vs. Chargers – After getting pummeled by Kansas City 33-3, it looks like this Chargers team has mailed it in for the year.

9. Tony Romo vs. Panthers – There aren’t too many defenses better than this one, but Romo should feel more comfortable in his second game back and it’s always nice to play at home.

10. Andy Dalton vs. Rams – Less than two weeks ago, Cincy was unbeaten. Now, they have two losses, so expect for Dalton to get things going early at home.

11. Eli Manning @ Redskins – Things are tightening up in the NFC East and you better believe Eli is fully aware of that.

12. Derek Carr @ Titans – Carr and his Raiders have been slumping of late and things won’t get any easier going up against this very stout defensive unit.

13. Drew Brees @ Texans – Houston’s defense has been one of their few bright spots this season, but future Hall of Famer Drew Brees is always capable of putting up points regardless of the opponent.

14. Marcus Mariota vs. Raiders – The past couple of weeks have been mediocre for Mariota, but facing Oakland, who ranks 30th in pass defense, should be a welcomed sign.

15. Josh McCown vs. Ravens – With the benching of Johnny Manziel, McCown will look to give Cleveland some stability.

16. Kirk Cousins vs. Giants – New York ranks dead last in pass defense.

17. Brian Hoyer vs. Saints – Hoyer has only thrown for over 300 yards once this season. Facing one of the worst pass defenses could change that statistic.

18. Matt Hasselback vs. Buccaneers – If Indy can get the run game established, Hasselback should be able to find some holes in the secondary.

19. Ben Roethlisberger @ Seahawks – As Big Ben looks to put together consecutive good outings, he’ll have to do so against a determined Seattle defense.

20. Alex Smith vs. Bills – During Kansas City’s four-game winning streak, Smith hasn’t thrown one interception. Something tells me that’ll change this Sunday against Buffalo.

21. Tyrod Taylor @ Chiefs – He hasn’t looked the same since returning from injury and don’t expect that flip to be switched against this stingy Chiefs defense.

21. Jay Cutler @ Packers – Historically, Cutler is downright putrid in Lambeau Field. Over his last three visits, he has a touchdown to interception ratio of 2:8.

22. Philip Rivers @ Jaguars – Last week was the first time all season Rivers went without throwing a single touchdown pass.

23. Ryan Tannehill @ Jets – If you’re a struggling quarterback looking to get back on track, the Jets aren’t on the top of the list of teams you’d like to play.

24. Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. Dolphins – He has thrown four interceptions over his last two games.

25. Matt Ryan vs. Vikings – When it comes to natural talent, there aren’t many more gifted than Ryan, but execution is a totally different situation.

26. Teddy Bridgewater @ Falcons – Minnesota is a very good ball club because of their defense and ground attack. Bridgewater just has to be solid.

27. Brock Osweiler vs. Patriots – Sure, Osweiler was able to defeat Chicago in his debut, but this is a totally different monster.

28. Mark Sanchez @ Lions – From top to bottom, Philly is just a complete disaster at this point in the season.

29. Blaine Gabbert vs. Cardinals – This will be another great learning experience for Gabbert (and 49ers fans).

30. Case Keenum @ Bengals – After losing two straight, the Bengals will be smelling blood with Keenum in town.
