The Sports Xchange
The San Francisco 49ers signed running back Shaun Draughn to a one-year deal, the team announced Monday.
Draughn was originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins in 2011 and has also spent time Kansas City, Baltimore and Indianapolis in his five-year career.
In 2014, he appeared in two games with the Chicago Bears, four games with the San Diego Chargers and four games with the Cleveland Browns.
This season, he played in five games with the Browns before being waived on October 20, 2015. He had two rushing attempts for 10 yards for the Browns.
The 49ers need help at the running-back position with Carlos Hyde and Reggie Bush both injured.
