Redskins TE Reed practices
Tight end Jordan Reed practiced for the first time since Week 1 and could be back in the lineup for the Washington Redskins this week.
Reed made just one catch for nine yards before leaving with a hamstring injury in the opening-week loss at Houston. Reed battled concussion issues as a rookie last season but was viewed as a critical cog for the Redskins offense.
Reed is needed back in the lineup this week after backup Niles Paul, who had at least 60 yards receiving in his first four games this season after totaling 288 in his previous three seasons, left last Thursday’s game against the New York Giants with a head injury.
Blocking specialist and third-teamer Logan Paulsen lost a critical fumble with the Redskins driving and the game still competitive.
