The Arizona Cardinals signed cornerback Carrington Byndom and defensive tackle Olsen Pierre to the practice squad on Wednesday.

The team also released cornerback Leon McFadden, who was signed to the New York Giants’ active roster Wednesday, and defensive end Lawrence Okoye.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Byndom entered the league last year with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Texas. He played in three regular-season games and two postseason contests with Carolina last season, making one tackle on special teams after spending the first 12 weeks of the season on the Panthers’ practice squad.

The 6-5, 293-pound Pierre signed with Chicago in May as a rookie free agent out of Miami and remained with the Bears until he was released on Aug. 30. He played four years at the University of Miami.
