Browns sign LB DiManche off KC practice squad
The Sports Xchange
The Cleveland Browns signed linebacker Jayson DiManche to their active roster from the practice squad of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Running back Shaun Draughn was waived to create a roster spot and the Browns signed tight end Brian Leonhardt to the practice squad and released defensive back Ty Zimmerman from the practice squad.
DiManche is in his third NFL season out of Southern Illinois and entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2013. He has played in 28 career games with one start.
Draughn appeared in five games as a reserve this season.
