PITTSBURGH — The Steelers are 3-0 against the NFC West and have a chance to sweep the division for the first time since the league went to the current scheduling format in 2002 when they play at Seattle on Nov. 29. The Steelers were 3-1 against the NFC West in 2011 and 2007. The only time they had a losing record against the NFC West was 2003 when they were 1-3 against the division and finished 6-10.

–The Steelers are protecting the ball better than they have in years. They have committed just three turnovers all season, tied for the fewest in the NFL with the New England Patriots and New York Giants. In the three games quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has missed the Steelers have committed one turnover – a meaningless interception on a Hail Mary pass from Mike Vick at the end of the first half against San Diego last Monday. The Steelers are tied for first in the league in turnover differential (plus-6).
