The San Francisco 49ers are likely to be without tight end Vernon Davis for Sunday’s home game against the Green Bay Packers. Davis was officially listed as doubtful with a sore knee.

Coach Jim Tomsula expected Davis to practice Friday, but he was unable to take part.

Running back Reggie Bush (calf) practiced again Friday and is listed as probable, along with cornerback Kenneth Acker (back), guard Alex Boone (shoulder), linebackers Navorro Bowman (not injury related) and Ahmad Brooks (shoulder), wide receiver Bruce Ellington (ankle), safety L.J. McCray (hip), tight end Vance McDonald (knee) and Eric Reid (hip).

Bush is expected to play for the first time since the season opener, and could be used on punt returns as well.
