Week 4 NFL Quarterback Rankings – Who Has The Best Matchups

Find out which quarterbacks have the best matchups for Week 4.

on

Every week we present to you our quarterback rankings. The list consist of talent, but more importantly, who has the best matchup. For example, we know Andy Dalton isn’t the second best quarterback, but he has a very favorable matchup and he’s been playing magnificent thus far.

Without further ado, here’s the list:

1. Aaron Rodgers @ San Francisco – Rodgers is the best in the world and he’s facing a team that allowed 47 points against Arizona last week.

2. Andy Dalton vs. Kansas City – The Chiefs will get Sean Smith back, but this secondary still has to prove itself against Dalton, who’s off to a great start.

3. Andrew Luck vs. Jacksonville – Sure, Luck has been less than stellar thus far, but a home game against the injury-ridden Jags is just what the doctor ordered.

4. Matt Ryan vs. Houston – The Texans have a solid secondary, but Ryan will still be able to connect with Julio Jones on numerous occasions.

5. Eli Manning @ Buffalo – Manning should be able to exploit the Bills subpar secondary, which is ranked second to last in the league.

6. Carson Palmer vs. St. Louis – Coming off an explosive showing against San Francisco, expect for Palmer and company to keep rolling at home against the Rams.

7. Tyrod Taylor vs. New York Giants – Taylor has looked like an efficient passer thus far and that shouldn’t change against the Giants, who rank dead last in pass defense.

8. Russell Wilson vs. Detroit – This is the week Wilson and Graham take off.

9. Philip Rivers vs. Cleveland – As long as Rivers avoids Joe Haden, he should be able to produce good numbers at home.

10. Derek Carr @ Chicago – Despite the 0-3 start, Chicago’s pass defense has actually been solid. However, Carr is only getting better with more experience.

11. Peyton Manning vs. Minnesota – Peyton is due for a breakout performance, right?

12. Joe Flacco @ Pittsburgh – A desperate Baltimore team will look to exploit Pittsburgh’s weak secondary.

13. Cam Newton @ Tampa Bay – Newton’s numbers aren’t overly impressive, but he will be able to beat the Bucs with his arm and legs.

14. Michael Vick vs. Baltimore – Vick isn’t the best passer in the world, but with the collection of talent surrounding him, he’ll be able to put up numbers against Baltimore’s inferior secondary.

15. Ryan Tannehill vs. New York Jets – It’s always tough going up against the Jets secondary, however, Tannehill has the ability to get into a rhythm.

16. Brandon Weeden @ New Orleans – Weeden showed his capable of putting points on the board against Atlanta, which means he shouldn’t have much of a hard time against the Saints.

17. Sam Bradford @ Washington – The Skins pass defense is ranked top ten, but when facing a Chip Kelly led offensive unit, you know they’re capable of carving anyone up.

18. Kirk Cousins vs. Philadelphia – Cousins has completed nearly 70 percent of his passes. If he can cut down on the turnovers, he’ll do well against Philly.

19. Luke McCown vs. Dallas – McCown impressed in replacement of Drew Brees. Playing at home against Dallas won’t hurt.

20. Matthew Stafford @ Seattle – With Chancellor back, things have gotten tougher for opponents, but there’s no denying the raw talent Stafford has.

21. Jameis Winston vs. Carolina – This is a stiff test for the rookie, but he’s capable of making most of the throws on the football field and he’ll have to use his legs a little bit too.

22. Alex Smith @ Cincinnati – Kansas City will be desperate, so expect for Andy Reid to open up the playbook against a tough Cincy squad.

23. Ryan Mallett @ Atlanta – Mallett is still getting his feet wet as being a full-time starter. Expect more growing pains.

24. Blake Bortles @ Indianapolis – Jacksonville is trying to figure out if Bortles is the future or not. I don’t think they’ll find an answer this weekend at Indy.

25. Teddy Bridgewater @ Denver – Minnesota has to establish the run against Denver because their front seven and secondary will cause havoc for Teddy.

26. Ryan Fitzpatrick @ Dolphins – After being embarrassed against Buffalo, expect for this Dolphins defense to tee off on Fitzpatrick.

27. Jimmy Clausen vs. Oakland – The Raiders secondary isn’t the best, but neither is Clausen.

28. Josh McCown @ San Diego – The Johnny Manziel chatter will only get louder after this Sunday.

29. Nick Foles @ Arizona – One of the worst starting quarterbacks against a top defense on the road equals disaster.

30. Colin Kaepernick vs. Green Bay – San Francisco will get down big early and that will force them to air it out with Kaepernick, which will play right into Green Bay’s hands.
