ARLINGTON, Texas — Dallas Cowboys rookie guard La’el Collins will make his first career start Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons with guard Ronald Leary (groin) out.

Collins went undrafted out of LSU despite being graded as a first-round talent. Being linked to double homicide in the days leading up to the draft led to his freefall.

Other Dallas inactives are: defensive end Jeremy Mincey, quarterback Matt Cassel, wide receiver Dez Bryant, running back Christine Michael, defensive end Randy Gregory and tight end Geoff Swain. Quarterback Tony Romo was placed on the IR/designated to return list last week.

Atlanta inactives: wide receiver Devin Hester, linebacker Brooks Reed, tackle Jake Long, running back Tevin Coleman, center Gino Gradkowski and tackle Bryce Harris.
