Report: Seahawks to active Chancellor
The Sports Xchange
The Seattle Seahawks will activate safety Kam Chancellor for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, according to CBS Sports.
Chancellor ended a 54-day holdout Wednesday but it was uncertain when the team would place him on the 53-man roster. He missed all of training camp, all four preseason games and two regular season games.
According to the report, the Seahawks will place Chancellor on the active roster by Saturday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline.
The team apparently decided Chancellor was in good enough shape to begin playing after missing nearly two months.
Chancellor’s holdout did not result in getting a pay raise.
Seattle heads into Sunday with a 0-2 record.
