Bears’ Cutler misses another practice
The Sports Xchange
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler sat out practice for a second straight day on Thursday and it appears that he won’t play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, according to reports.
Cutler suffered a strained hamstring last Sunday in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals as the Bears fell to 0-2.
Jimmy Clausen will start if Cutler is unable to go against the Seahawks. Clauson met with the media after Thursday’s practice and said he was excited about playing this week.
Clausen entered last week’s 48-23 loss to the Cardinals and completed 14 of 23 passes for 121 yards with one interception and no touchdowns.
Last season, Clausen played in four games and started one for the Bears — his first action since his rookie year with the Carolina Panthers in 2010.
