Redskins re-sign Kearse, waive Amerson

The Washington Redskins announced on Monday that they re-signed free agent defensive end Frank Kearse and waived cornerback David Amerson.
Kearse, 26, played in 15 games for the Redskins last season, when he had three sacks and 12 tackles. He has been off and on the Redskins roster several times this season.
Amerson, 23, played in both games for the Redskins this season, his third in the NFL. He was a second-round draft pick in 2013 out of North Carolina State.
