The Sports Xchange
PHILADELPHIA — Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was tended to on the field with an apparent collarbone or left shoulder injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s game at Lincoln Financial Field.
Romo lost a fumble with the Cowboys ahead 13-0 and clutched for his left shoulder while lying flat on his back. As the Dallas offense and Eagles’ defense went off, Romo remained on the field.
He was driven into the ground by rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks, who forced the ball out.
Brandon Weeden is the No. 2 quarterback for the Cowboys.
Romo said before the game his back was sore entering the Week 2 NFC East showdown with the Eagles.
