St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher told Sirius XM Radio on Saturday that rookie running back Todd Gurley will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.

Gurley, the No. 10 overall pick in this year’s NFL draft, has been out with a knee injury. He was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report.

The rookie did run with the first unit at times this week in practice. During the week, Fisher would not rule out Gurley for Sunday’s game.

Tre Mason, who has been out with a hamstring injury, is expected to return. Benny Cunningham filled in as the starter in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks.

Gurley has been out since tearing an ACL last Nov. 12 in a game against Auburn while at Georgia.

If Gurley plays Sunday, he is expected to be eased back into the running back rotation before eventually becoming the primary ball carrier.
