Rams-Seahawks inactives: RBs Gurley, Mason out

ST. LOUIS — Running backs Todd Gurley (knee) and Tre Mason (hamstring) were among the St. Louis Rams’ inactives for their NFL season opener Sunday with the Seattle Seahawks.
Mason, who was listed as the starter on the Rams’ depth chart, will be replaced by the duo of Benny Cunningham and Isaiah Pead. Cunningham is expected to start.
St. Louis also deactivated wide receiver Brian Quick, quarterback Sean Mannion, linebacker Daren Bates, tackle Darrell Williams and tackle Andrew Donnal.
Seattle inactives include wide receiver B.J. Daniels, cornerback Tharold Simon, fullback Will Tukuafu, linebacker Mike Morgan, guard Mark Glowinski, center/guard Kristjan Sokoli and defensive tackle David King.
