Saints’ Ingram expected to miss Cowboys game
METAIRIE, La. — Running back Mark Ingram did not participate in Thursday’s practice for the New Orleans Saints because of a fractured left hand, and he likely will miss Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Also missing practice Thursday was fullback Erik Lorig (ankle), who probably will not be ready for the game.
Among players who missed practice but whose status is undetermined were inside linebacker David Hawthorne (knee, ankle), center Jonathan Goodwin (high ankle), safety Marcus Bell (hamstring) and tight end Benjamin Watson (groin).
Inside linebacker Curtis Lofton was again limited Thursday with a shoulder injury that has not prevented him from playing since the season opener.
