49ers trade for C Easton, release 14 players

The San Francisco 49ers acquired center Nick Easton from the Baltimore Ravens for an undisclosed draft choice on Saturday, in addition to releasing 14 players and placing two on Injured Reserve.

Easton must pass a physical for the trade to be completed.

The 49ers placed tight end Busta Anderson and running back Kendall Hunter on Injures Reserve, and put wide receiver Jerome Simpson on the Reserve/Suspended List.

San Francisco waived wide receiver DiAndre Campbell, cornerback Marcus Cromartie, guard-center Dillon Farrell, running back Kendall Gaskins, tight end Xavier Grimble, cornerback Leon McFadden, linebacker Nick Moody, defensive tackle Kaleb Ramsey, offensive lineman Justin Renfrow, defensive lineman Marcus Rush, nose tackle Garrison Smith, quarterback Dylan Thompson, guard Andrew Tiller and safety Jermaine Whitehead to reach the 53-man limit.
