Bucs release DE Bowers, nine others

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers parted with defensive end Da’Quan Bowers and nine others late Friday to trim their roster to 65 players.
Tampa Bay cut right guard Patrick Omameh, who started all 16 regular-season games last year. The Bucs also released linebacker Khaseem Greene, kicker Connor Barth, kicker Patrick Murray with an injured designation, linebacker Larry Dean, quarterback Seth Lobato, cornerback Brandon Dixon, defensive back Chris Hackett and wide receiver Tavarres King.
Wide receiver Kenny Bell, a fifth-round draft pick, is reportedly headed to injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
