WR Moore among Bengals cuts
The Sports Xchange
The Cincinnati Bengals cut wide receiver Denarius Moore and six other players Monday.
Moore signed with the Bengals as an unrestricted free agent for 2015 after four years with the Oakland Raiders. He played in Cincinnati’s first three preseason games, with a 30-yard reception.
The Bengals waived three veterans: third-year defensive tackle Kwame Geathers, third-year linebacker Nico Johnson and second-year defensive end Sam Montgomery.
The team also waived three college free agents: guard Chris Jasperse of Marshall, wide receiver Desmond Lawrence of North Carolina A&T and tight end John Peters of Mount St. Joseph.
The Bengals now have 80 players on their roster, which must be reduced to 75 by 4 p.m. ET Tuesday.
