Dolphins sign guard Browning

MIAMI — The Miami Dolphins signed free-agent guard Bryant Browning, who spent the 2014 offseason with the Pittsburgh Steelers as well as spent time on their practice squad and the Buffalo Bills practice squad during the 2013 season.

Prior to that, the 6-4, 325-pounder spent the 2013 offseason with the New York Giants, following stints on the practice squads of the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns during the 2012 season. In 2011, he was on the Panthers practice squad prior to being activated on Dec. 2, 2011, where he appeared in one game. He originally signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted college free agent out of Ohio State on July 29, 2011 prior to being waived on Aug. 6, 2011.
