The Miami Dolphins claimed wide receiver Kevin Cone off waivers on Tuesday from the Cleveland Browns.

The Dolphins waived guard Dionte Savage to clear roster space for Cone.

Cone was with the Browns during the offseason after spending the 2014 season on practice squads with Cleveland, Tampa Bay and Arizona.

Originally signed by Atlanta as an undrafted free agent in 2011, Cone played in 29 regular-season NFL games and one playoff game in three seasons with the Falcons. He has one career reception for 12 yards and nine special-teams tackles.

Cone was briefly with the Dolphins in 2014 after leaving the Falcons as a free agent. He signed with Miami last April 3 but was released Aug. 30 before the start of last season.
