Right tackle Gosder Cherilus visited the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday, two days after he was released by the Indianapolis Colts.

Cherilus started all 29 games he appeared in for the Colts over the past two seasons but landed on injured reserve before the playoffs.

The Bills parted with guard Chris Williams and tackle Wayne Hunter in the past week and have holes across the offensive line.

The seven-year veteran signed a five-year, $35 million deal in 2013 that included $16.5 million in guaranteed money. However, the 31-year-old struggled through nagging injuries in 2014 and required offseason knee surgery that prevented his participation in team workouts. He allowed six sacks and 15 hurries for the Colts last season.

Cherilus’ release saved the Colts around $4.1 million in salary cap space.
