The Cleveland Browns traded their seventh-round pick in 2017 to the San Francisco 49ers for three-time Pro Bowl punter Andy Lee, according to reports Saturday.

Cleveland is expected to release punter Spencer Lanning after he re-signed with the team in March.

The 32-year-old Lee, the longest tenured member of the 49ers, was selected in the sixth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. Lee has not missed a game during his 11-year career with the 49ers, averaging 46.2 yards per punt, with a 41.3 net.

Lee has ranked in the top five in yards per punt since 2007.

Lee became expendable after the 49ers drafted Bradley Pinion of Clemson in the fifth round of this year’s draft.

Lanning, undrafted in 2011, has been the Browns’ punter since 2013. Last season, he averaged 44.3 yards, with a 39.2 net.
