The Sports Xchange
The Cincinnati Bengals signed second-round draft pick Jake Fisher on Wednesday.
Fisher played in 51 games at Oregon and started 13 at left tackle last season as Oregon reached the College Football Playoff title game.
“We’re really excited about Jake,” Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said. “He plays with great attitude, tremendous energy and passion. He’s got a great future with us, and he’ll get an opportunity to play this season.”
The Bengals have signed seven of nine draft choices: linebacker P.J. Dawson (third round), cornerback Josh Shaw (fourth), defensive tackle Marcus Hardison (fourth), tight end C.J. Uzomah (fifth), safety Derron Smith (sixth) and wide receiver Mario Alford (seventh).
Their only unsigned picks are first-round tackle Cedric Ogbuehi and third-round tight end Tyler Kroft.
