The Buffalo Bills signed linebacker Tony Steward, the first of the team’s two sixth-round draft picks.

Steward finished his Clemson career with 141 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and 14 quarterback pressures. He struggled with injuries most of his career and all 12 starts came in 2014.

He was rated as the No. 43 outside linebacker in the 2015 class by NFLDraftScout.com.

“Physically strapped together with terrific weight room strength that translates to the field,” write NFLDraftScout.com analyst Dane Brugler. “Needs to better use his hands to stay clean from blocks and flow to the action. Alert, but will go with misdirection and get fooled, taking too many wasted steps.”
