The Kansas City Chiefs signed first-rounder Marcus Peters and two other draft picks on Friday.

Peters, a cornerback from Washington, was selected No. 18 overall. Also signing were two third-round picks, wide receiver Chris Conley of Georgia and cornerback Steven Nelson of Oregon State, and undrafted defensive tackle Charles Tuaau of Texas A&M-Commerce.

To make room on the roster, the Chiefs waived tight end Brandon Barden and defensive tackle Hebron Fangupo.

The Chiefs have now signed all of their draft picks before the team’s rookie three-day minicamp begins Saturday.

Peters was dismissed from the team at Washington last season after a series of “immature decisions.” The Chiefs are hoping he’ll win a starting job at corner as a rookie opposite Sean Smith.
