Panthers sign second-round pick Funchess

The Carolina Panthers signed second-round draft choice wide receiver Devin Funchess, the team announced Monday.
Funchess, who entered the draft after his junior year, was a two-time All-Big Ten Conference selection in three seasons at Michigan.
He totaled 126 receptions for 1,715 yards and 15 touchdowns, and caught at least one pass in each of his final 24 games.
Last season, Funchess led with Wolverines in receiving, with 62 catches for 733 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns.
