Bears add offensive linemen, safety
The Sports Xchange
The Chicago Bears added two offensive linemen on Tuesday, reaching agreement with Tayo Fabuluje on a four-year contract and claiming Paul Cornick off waivers, and agreed to terms with safety Adrian Amos on a four-year deal.
Fabuluje’s contract is worth $2.28 million, according to overthecap.com. The Bears selected him in the sixth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.
At TCU, the 6-foot-6, 353-pound Fabuluje started 12 games as a senior and was named second-team All-Big 12 by the Associated Press.
Cornick played in 12 games for the Denver Broncos last season but was released by the team. He began his NFL career in 2012 as an undrafted free agent from North Dakota State.
Amos was drafted in the fifth round out of Penn State last week. In four years with the Nittany Lions, he compiled 146 tackles, seven interceptions, 19 pass breakups, nine tackles for loss and three sacks. He had three interceptions in 2014 and was named All-Big Ten honorable mention.
